Dr. Damilola Awoyemi founded FID SPA in 2019 with a bold vision: to create a sanctuary where the wisdom of traditional African healing meets the precision of modern medical science.
Trained as a physician and deeply immersed in the world of holistic wellness, Dr. Awoyemi saw a gap in the Nigerian wellness landscape — a need for a space that honored heritage while embracing innovation. FID SPA became her answer.
Under her leadership, FID SPA has grown from a modest wellness center into one of Nigeria's most trusted spa destinations. Thousands of clients have walked through its doors, and hundreds of therapists have been trained at the FID SPA Academy — many of whom now serve communities across West Africa.
Beyond the treatment rooms, Dr. Awoyemi is a passionate advocate for women's wellness, mental health, and the professionalization of the spa industry in Nigeria. She lectures, mentors, and writes — always returning to the same truth: healing is personal, and everyone deserves it.
